Ireland South East Financial Services Cluster teams with Compliance Institute to develop regional chapters

Compliance Institute has announced the launch of a number of Regional Chapters in support of their vision to be a network of vibrant and qualified professionals operating to the highest ethical standards who have a strong sense of belonging.

We have teamed up with the Compliance Institute to launch the Southeast Chapter on Wednesday 21st June. The event is being hosted by TransferMate Global Payments in their state of the art office.

In addition to an exciting range of speakers, there will also be a networking event with finger food and drinks provided. This reception will provide a wonderful opportunity for networking.

This Ireland South East Financial Services and Compliance Institute Regional Chapter aims to provide a comprehensive platform for cluster professionals to discuss the latest technological advancements, best practices, industry trends, and regulatory developments. The chapter seeks to enhance collaboration between financial services organisations and FinTech firms, resulting in innovative solutions, improved risk management, and compliance frameworks.The chapters activities will centre around various aspects of risk and compliance, including but not limited to, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), privacy regulations, cybersecurity, and data protection. The chapter by Compliance Institute and Ireland South East Financial Services Cluster will bring together risk and compliance professionals, technology experts, regulators, policymakers, and representatives from the industry to engage in productive discussions, workshops, and training sessions.The chapter will also act as a bridge between the cluster FinTech Centre of Excellence project supporting start-ups, enabling a better understanding of the regulatory landscape and exploring opportunities for collaboration on projects that can enhance risk management and regulatory compliance.Overall, the Ireland South East Financial Services Cluster & Compliance Institute Regional Chapter will play a critical role in developing a  Risk and Compliance ecosystem in the South East Region.
