Skills are a key pillar of our cluster – ensuring education and training providers are aligned with industry needs.
Our cluster community includes academia, ranging from Universities to Skillnet’s. The cluster facilitates industry collaboration with academia to help upskill the workforce through funded initiatives. We have had much success to date creating new frameworks and programs inspired by cluster workshop sessions.
The Cluster HR Fourm meet quarterly sharing best practice and collectively champion opportunities in the region. The topics exchanged include training & development, retention & recognition, regulatory developments, recruitment and attracting new talent. South East Technological University (SETU) is a multi-campus university with campuses located in Waterford, Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow and Kilkenny.
Certificate in Project Management
Classes are delivered online on Thursday evenings from 7.00pm – 10.00pm for 12 weeks. Classes are live and are not recorded.
Certificate in Human Resource Management
Delivery 12 weeks, Monday 7.00pm – 10.00pm and alternate Wednesdays 7.00pm – 10.00pm (on campus)
Higher Diploma in Science Business Systems Analysis
The programme is delivered fully online via live classes, currently scheduled from 12-2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

On completion of this two-year apprentice, you will become a fully qualified Accounting Technician.
